with great reservation, i sold my teal vinyl 60s daybed on CL. hope they love it.

i moved my danish daybed up to the loft - it felt quite squished downstairs. it's a much more comfy sleep for my guests then the vinyl.

diy project {the patio}

yesterday i decided to redo my patio. i knew it would be challenging, but i ignored that fact and took the opportunity with my sister in town for the long weekend.

it started off quick. removing the blue slate was lick-ity split. we rolled them out of the way. power washing was a breeze but messy. we had to screen the gravel to get some additional fill (it took more than I imagined it needed). resetting, leveling and sloping away from the house foundation, well, not simple.

i'm happy.
