working on the wall and porch column over the next two days. this one i hired out. i'll be adding photo's as the day and the work progress.

end of day 1. we have run into what could have been a huge disaster, but my quick thinking allowed us to recover. the column is improved. let's just do a big lessons learned and say...you absolutely always get what you pay for.
we'll see how staining goes, but it's definitely not going to be as dark as the old stain, likely i will just need to live with that and let the weathering start all over again.
it's a tremendous improvement over what it was.
